Farmers, Artists and Chefs
Chef, Gardener
Sue Mandini, Kealakekua, HI
Sue has been homesteading and sustainably farming on Keopuka Mauka Farm for over 16 years. Her passion for growing and cooking food follows in the heritage of her paternal grandparents, who were farmers in Sicily, and her maternal great-grandparents, who emigrated from Northern Italy to become chefs in NYC's finest hotels.
In Italian culture, as in Hawaiian culture, food is love, and eating together is a shared celebration of life.
Out of her passion for cultivating and connecting people to the vitality of the land, Sue co-founded Pure Mana Hawaii, whole-plant skincare that is food for your skin. Now, she is happy to use her 10+ years of culinary experience to create unique feasts for your senses from the freshest farm ingredients.
